Massage therapy offers many health benefits and can help everyone. While massage provides well needed relaxation, it is also very therapeutic to reduce pain and inflammation in the muscles and ligaments and aids in the recovery from injury and workouts. At Alpine Chiropractic and Massage we provide therapeutic massage as a compliment to chiropractic care in order to decrease recovery time from injury.
Massage therapy also helps:
- Provide overall wellness
- Addresses postural distortions and misalignments
- Reduces stress
- Improves sleep
- Helps depression and anxiety
- Bolster the immune system
- Support the body’s natural healing process
- Increases circulation
We utilize massage therapy in conjunction with chiropractic care in order to help you achieve optimal results. You will feel better and more relaxed because of our unique integrative approach. Additionally, massage therapy combined with chiropractic care will help to increase the speed of recovery from injury.

Alyssa Downs, LMT
Alyssa is our resident rehabilitative/deep tissue massage therapist, working mainly in injury repair, and has been practicing (mostly) locally since 2014. Alyssa specializes in therapeutic treatments including trigger point, deep tissue, muscle stripping, and sports therapies (that work to increase range of motion), and loves to combine techniques to relieve each patient’s individual causes of pain. Alyssa uses more intensive techniques in her treatments, so if you are coming to see her, please be well hydrated (and maybe mentally prepared).
Alyssa is a mother of two, and lives in Bend with her husband, kiddos, and two snuggly cats. When not massaging, she loves listening to/playing music, singing, watching movies, and dancing in the kitchen while she bakes.
Favorite movies: “Sister Act 2”, “Endings, Beginnings”
Favorite songs: “Everywhere, Everything” by Noah Kahan & Gracie Abrams, “Could Have Been Me” by The Struts (played at max volume)
Favorite things to bake: rocky road brownies, chocolate chip cookies
Keddah Clement, LMT
Keddah has been practicing massage since 2022 upon earning her certification from Central Oregon Community College. She specializes in Swedish massage, relaxation techniques and somatic flow bodywork, creating a soothing and restorative experience tailored to each patient’s needs. Keddah’s approach centers on helping clients reconnect with their bodies to release tension and cultivate a deeper sense of ease and balance.
Outside of her practice, Keddah loves spending quality time with her family and three dogs. She also enjoys tending to her many beautiful house plants and gardening in the Central Oregon sunshine.

Luis Rodriquez, LMT
Luis brings a passion for keeping people active in Central Oregon. A native to the area and a soccer player, he discovered manual therapies after a knee injury sparked his curiosity about muscle therapies. At 25, he studied at Sage School of Massage and Esthetics. He was drawn to deep tissue, Swedish and trigger point techniques. Luis focuses on therapeutic work and tailors sessions to muscle tolerances, easing pain and restoring vitality.
A lover of hiking, swimming, and cozy drinks, he aims to master lymphatic drainage and sports massage. He aims to get everyone to their best health and athletes “back in the game”.
McKenzie Wilcox, LMT
McKenzie has been practicing massage since she graduated from the Ashland Institute of Massage in 2008. McKenzie is a heart-centered, intuitive massage therapist who believes that healing begins the moment a person feels safe and seen. Blending
deep tissue, Swedish and intuitive flow, she works with the body rather than against it – listening closely to breath, nervous system cues and the natural rhythms of each client.
McKenzie is a Bend native and enjoys spending time with her daughter exploring nature, paddle boarding, hiking, snowmobiling and creating art.
Kelli Timson, LMT
Kelli attended COCC’s Massage Therapy Program with a special interest in pre- and postnatal massage, supporting the physical demands of pregnancy and postpartum recovery. She is also known for her effective deep tissue work and ability to address chronic tension, postural strain, and soft tissue restrictions while maintaining client comfort. She is currently attending the Academy of Clinical Massage to become an Orthopedic Medical Massage Specialist, further expanding her training in injury treatment and recovery-focused care.
When she’s not in the treatment room, Kelli can usually be found spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, or enjoying music and theater.
